The gyro nazi and her husband! Yes - just like Seinfeld's
soup nazi. No gyro for you! Go home! This place is the best if you want to get yelled at and/or treated like garbage or see someone else get totally destroyed with compulsively rude comments and crazy attitude. Here are a couple snippets: Old man tries to ask the waitress/host/owner/gyro nazi for something. She looks at him and says I don't have time. But...but - I just wanted water. HhaahHaaaa!!! Burn! Group walks in expecting to be greeted and seated. Gyro nazi - sit wherever you want. We will be there when we can. They never even got water. All the while I am cracking up. Not my first time here nor will it be my last. Too much fun. And then - the finale... yup. Can we split the check? Like
watching a car accident. She says - Only one person can pay. Don't you know that??? Never come back here with more than one payment. Otherwise. No gyro for you! Bwaaahaaahaha! And then. She looks my way. I'm thinking - here it comes but she just moves along. Brings me my gyro. I eat politely and savor every single delicious, juicy bite and then - I ran out of tzatziki sauce. I think to myself: Oh no... what do I do? Do I ask for another cup? What if she cuts me off? I'll pay. I swear I'll pay. Anything you want. Please - just one more cup. I go for it. She then says - sure thing my dear. Whew! I devour the rest just happy that I survived! Gulp down my water and bid farewell to my fellow survivors. The food is so good it's worth the abuse! I'll be back!!!!
I highly recommend their gyro sandwich and souvlaki sandwich. None better anywhere. And - you have to kind of enjoy the show bc the service is brutal if you're not ready for it or step out of line. Better put your big kid pants on. The gyro nazi and her husband will kick you out, scold you, ignore you, or something worse if they decide they're done with you or they're just having a bad day. If you survive, you will be back for more. Don't take it personally - gyro this good only comes around so often. -

Love love love this place!! My husband and I frequent Greek Corner Cafe pretty often to the extent that the woman behind the counter remembers my order now (which I don't know whether to be embarrassed of or not haha).
When you dine in for dinner, your food comes with the soup of the day. But if you order to go, your food doesn't come with the soup of the day.
We have tried the souvlaki, gyro plates, chicken plate, the mix plate of gyros + either your choice of chicken or beef, and gyro sandwiches.
Regardless of what sort of protein you order here, the meat will be sooo juicy and so flavorful. Even if it is well done, your meat will still be super juicy (shocking right?)
The bread that comes with the souvlaki plate is very fresh, warm, and buttery--just how I like it.
The rice they have too is also super flavorful which is nice considering the fact rice isn't my favorite thing in the world unless it's seasoned/flavored (like a biryani for example! Or rice pilaf!)
It's really nice to go to a locally owned Greek restaurant where they make you feel welcomed and enjoy their food.
The woman behind the counter is legit my favorite. She always asks how we're doing and is very polite and professional. For the time that we dined in rather than did take out, she made sure to check up on us frequently.
Highly recommend for anyone who wants to try Greek food or who likes Greek food to eat here! -

Got to this lovely place at 6:00PM and was able to sit anywhere we wanted.
My husband and I got the platter of Gyros and Chicken Kabob! Super delicious. Food came out in a fair amount of time, as I noticed the lady was the only waitress working! But the customer service was excellent!
The price on of the plates are perfect, as the portion is quite large! I was so full and satisfied when I left. If you order the plates, you do get a "soup of the day" which is also super yummy!
I highly recommend if you're near this area to try it out! -

Everything we've tried on their menu has been top notch! The team of two here are amazing and we've always been greeted very warmly. We'll see you again this weekend!

Changing my review from 4 to 3 based on owners response. You can see based on other owner responses, this is not anything new.
Original review: This place had some pretty delicious food but I will say that the service could be improved upon. When we sat down we were greeted fairly quickly by a woman who didn't seem super thrilled to be there. We were kind of rushed through our order and told very strongly that they "don't serve French fries here" and when asking questions, we were kind of brushed off. Instead of asking "how are you doing," we were told "you're good. Right?" As if she was hoping that we didn't need anything. The food took a little while to come out even though it wasn't very busy. I will say that the quality of the food made up for the service and the wait. It was fresh, warm, and tasty.
